Plot : Legend of the Guardians is an upcoming animated movie based on the first three installments of Kathryn Lasky’s fantasy book ‘Guardians of Ga’Hoole’. Directed by Zack Snyder, Legend of the Guardians revolves around a young owl named Soren, who along with other brave owls, tries to find out the Great Tree, home of the legendary Guardians of Ga’Hoole. Soren strives to reach Great Tree in order to defeat the evil Pure Ones and save the owl kingdoms. Soren gets trapped into the clutches of Pure One but with the help of other owls he manages to break free and embarks in the journey to find Great Tree. The three books of Kathryn Lasky on which the movie is based are The Capture, The Journey, and The Rescue. Actors like Jim Sturgess, Geoffrey Rush, Rachael Taylor, David Wenham, and Emilie de Ravin have lent their voices to the different characters of the movie. This animated movie is expected to hit the big screens on September 24, 2010. Although, it the first animated movie of filmmaker Zack Snyder, however, Legend of the Guardians is sure to win the hearts of audience because of its adapted storyline.
